In some cases, you may decide to offer the shipping costs to your customer, for example:
if you wish to offer a goodwill gesture;
if an error occurred while processing the item, such as an error in weight, dimensions, or a mix-up of items;
if the parcel has been reported lost and you wish to cover the shipping costs as compensation.â â â
When this option is enabled for an item, the end customer does not have to pay shipping costs when picking up the item.
đ§ How to enable this option for an item?
You can enable shipping cost coverage from the itemâs details page, even if the item has already been listed.â â â
To do this:
Open the itemâs details page.
Access the ownerâs information by tapping the three dots to the left of the photo.
Enable the option âI want to cover shipping costs (Express)"
Add a compensation option if you wish. This is a surcharge that will be billed to you along with the shipping costs if you select it. Depending on the amount you choose, we will reimburse you the corresponding amount in the event of a package loss reported by the carrier.

â ïž If the customer has already been charged for shipping, this option is no longer available. However, if the customer has paid and you still want to cover the shipping costs, you can contact our Support team so that we can issue a refund to your customer and bill you instead.
