Set up your discovery and storage locations

To add, modify, or delete a discovery location:

Go to the "Settings" tab

Then, in the "Object Registration" section

And in the area "Where do you find objects most often?"

To add, modify, or delete a discovery location:

Then, in the "Object Registration" section
And in the area "Where do you find objects most often?"

Specify the label in the "Reference label" field

Then check the "Reference required" box if you want this reference to always be filled when this discovery location is selected

Discovery location name = "Room"

Reference label = "Room number"

Reference required = "Yes"
Thus, when registering, the person will select "Room" as the discovery location, and they can specify the room number where they found the object (e.g., 102).
This also works for vehicles:

Discovery location name = "Car"

Reference label = "License plate"

Click on the text box, or on the pencil icon to the right to modify a discovery location

Click on the cross at the end of the line to delete a discovery location

Place your cursor on the gray area with the two white arrows at the beginning of the line, then drag the lines to arrange the discovery locations according to your display preferences.

To make it easier to enter your found objects, the first discovery location in your list is suggested by default every time you register a new object.

To add, modify, or delete a storage location:

Go to the "Settings" tab

Then, in the "Object Registration" section
And in the area "Where do you store the found objects?"

Click on "+ Add a location"

Specify the name of the storage location (e.g., Reception, Safe, Luggage storage...)
